AP Grader plane
The AP grader plane is designed for the construction and maintenance of gravel and dirt roads. Due to the universally adjustable blade all sorts of road profiles, like a roof profile, can be made in only a single pass.
With the help of the hydraulically adjustable ripper tines old roads / paths can be loosened to a depth of 100 mm, after which the material can be used again for grading.
Suitable for tractors with an unladen mass in running order up to 8000 kg with three-point linkage Cat. III.
The AP Grader Plane is perfectly suitable for the profiling and levelling of paved and unpaved roads and paths that are constructed of loose bulk materials like sand, ground, pebbles or gravel. Due to the universally adjustable blade all sorts of road profiles, like a roof profile, can be made in only one single pass.
Optionally the Grader plane can be equipped with a roadside milling machine, a side plough and removable sides. These options can be controlled simultaneously during profiling.
Behind the two-part grader blade it gives two beams on which ripper tines can be mounted. The ripper tines can be hydraulically controlled to pull materials loose.
The AP Grader plane can optionally be equipped with removable sides. On both sides the blade will then be provided with sides in order to keep more materials in front of the blade. Thanks to the set of sides no material can get lost to the sides. At the bottom of the side it gives a movable part that follows the profiling with a support skid. When the sides are not being used they can be stored in the storage rack that is supplied as standard.
The optional side plough can be used to plough a drainage channel / trench to prevent water puddles on the road profile. An advantage is the possibility to use the grader blade for profiling in the same track, however at an appropriate speed, walking space (<5 km/h).
Instead of ploughing a ditch it is also possible to mill a raised verge to improve the draining. A high roadside can lead to poor draining and the growth of plants and grasses. To solve that problem the AP Grader Plane can optionally be equipped with a roadside milling machine.
